Manny Pacquiao was born on December 17, 1978 in General Santos City, Philippines. He was forced to be the man of the household after his father left the family. He was the second of four children. Manny started work as a selling bread from the childhood. He was very interested in fighting and he had talent from his childhood as a fighter. He used to fight people around the neighbrhood for less amount of money. He started training seriously at the age of 15.
Manny Pacquiao made his first professional debout by defeating Edmund Ignacio in a four rounds. Manny defeated Chartchai Sasakul in eight rounds and became the WBA Flyweight Champion in December 1998. Manny was named Ring Magazine's Fighter of the year in 2006 after defeating some big boxing's names as Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez and defeating Eric Morales twice in one year.
